Welcome to my portfolio website, the site dedicated to the past two years of my life. In those two years, I have not been "just a teacher." I have learned. I have grown. And I have failed. But from my failures, I have learned and hopefully, I won't make the same mistakes.

I attribute much of my success as a teacher to the fact that I have two small boys. I am grateful to be a father. My boys are trying to learn about anything and everything. Watching them grow and challenge themselves helps me want to encourage and motivate them as well as provide opportunities for them to grow. Translating that attitude to my students has been a tremendous help. It is because of my sons that I truly attempt to help my students learn what is best for them.

Amongst the pages of this site, you will find many examples of how I have attempted to become a better teacher. And, hopefully, along the way, my students have learned a thing or two.

My website is very easily navigated. Simply click on the links to the left in order to go to whichever standard interests you. There, you will be able to read a brief belief statement regarding that standard, two artifacts used as examples of how I have tried to implement that standard in my teaching, and two reflections.
